So, how does the staging process work?

To assess your home’s readiness for being listed on the market and to give you a game plan for improving its presentation, Staging Coach offers a Consultation visit with follow-up written report. There is a flat fee for this service. The homeowner then has the option of contracting with Staging Coach for further services that can include: (extent of these services varies depending on scope of the project, hourly fee)

  • mapping of room lay-outs to establish best function, flow, and feature highlighting

  • project management to oversee homeowners investments in painting, flooring/carpeting installation, lighting installation, etc.; in the case of a vacant home, coordination/supervision of rental furniture delivery/pick-up

  • purchasing of items (within budget provided by homeowner) that are recommended by Staging Coach for showcasing the home (e.g., fresh towels, lighting fixtures, accessories); any professional discounts received from vendors are passed along to homeowner

  • showcasing of the home – actual furniture placement, use of accessories, etc.

  • in the case of a vacant property, selection of furniture to be rented from a rental company (homeowner to have contract with the furniture company)

  • in the case of a vacant property, Staging Coach offers rental of accessories such as those pictured on this page
